When Health Becomes a Trend

TikTok is rapidly becoming one of the most popular sources of information on health, beauty, and wellness. A study published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research (2024) confirms that younger users increasingly seek verified information about health and beauty products on TikTok. Based on this insight, we developed a multi-layered TikTok advertising strategy for Sanolabor. With strong visual hooks, trend-based communication, and advertising optimization, we launched four TikTok advertising campaigns.

Health – Smilers

We presented Smilers invisible aligners as a simple and affordable orthodontic solution. In four TikTok ads, we highlighted their discreet appearance, ease of use, and advantages over traditional braces. The key was dynamic, creative execution with an attention-grabbing opening shot.

Energy – SanoLAB Magnesium

We filmed TikTok ad content with a Sanolabor pharmacist, who added credibility and showed that magnesium is not just for athletes. Through reale yet informative content, we spread the word about a promotional campaign and discount period.

Protection – Dermocosmetics

TikTok ads for Sanolabor’s sunscreens addressed common questions and concerns about sun protection. Again, we focused on expertise and authenticity by featuring a Sanolabor pharmacist in the content. With dynamic editing and a promotional offer, we captured users’ attention.

Beauty – Collagen

To stand out in the crowded supplement market, we used a soft and educational communication style. Adopting a format similar to influencer-created videos, we fostered user identification with the featured character. We embraced current trends, gentle aesthetics, and a slower pace to create an intimate and trustworthy atmosphere.

Results

Across all four TikTok advertising campaigns, we achieved over 2,000,000 views and more than 20,000 clicks to product landing pages.
